Vegetables are seasonal, but fruit trees are alive year-round, however, the fruit trees produce fruits once during the year. Plants that are year-round are the evergreens - pines, for example. Shrubs, ivy plants, citrus trees, etc.

It would be helpful to know where you are or what zone you are in. Very few plants with the exception of evergreens produce show year round and this is especially true for fruits and veggies. Fruits only produce once during the growing season and veggies are annuals which means they only survive one growing season with the exception of the tomato plant and a few others which are tender perennials and will survive year round in tropical climates like South America. Then, there is the perennial flowers and shrubs that die back and go dormant during the winter and reemerge the following Spring.

Depends on what gardening zone you live in. For instance, in California, I can grow many fruits year round and most flowers can be grown year round. Example, I'm in Utah and everything is DEAD looking right now except the heleborus plant which blooms in the winter. I can't grow veggies right now, it's way too cold. There is snow all over. My pine trees are green year round though. If I was in California, I could grow veggies anytime I want. I think Florida and Hawaii are that way too.
