HELLO PEOPLE!!! So quick to judge!!! We don't have enough information here. If he isn't working, what will he be doing? Raising kids, cooking, cleaning, paying the bills, laundry, shopping, etc.???? If your income is enough and you wish for him to stay home with the kids, there is no problem with that. If roles were reversed, it would be perfectly normal.

BUT...If he just wants to be lazy, and absorb your hard earned cash and assuming you don't make hundreds of thousands each year, then this is unacceptable. Tell him to find work, that you and he need money, and that's that.

If he refuses, you need to decide if you want to support him forever. Do you really love him that much? Are you willing to do this forever, because he won't change if he has no reason to? If not, time to consult an attorney and make sure he is off the cards, accounts, etc. and has no access to your money. Be prepared to possibly pay spousal support if this has been going on for awhile.

Best of luck to you.

O girl i am in the sort of same situation as you are. Why exactly are his reasons for him not working? Does he even try to go look around or not really. MY best suggestions is either kick him to the curb or if you are going to stick around with him. Help him by looking up jobs for him to go. Tell him he needs to help you out specially if you are the only one working and if he is living there we you he has to contribute with something. You didn't get married to struggle in that case you could of stayed by yourself and struggle on your own. Some men now days are too much at times. Best of Luck to you and me lol.

Find out why, is it a ability or desire issue? Dose he desire to work, but having a hard time finding work? If so, you can help him with his resume, practice his interviewing skills, and clean up his appearance. If he don't want to work then thats a different story! If his abilities are limited maybe training or vocational education may be in order.

Girl, I once heard from my pastor, "A man that does not work, does not eat". I think it's in the Bible but I can't tell you where.
