I know how you feel, I've had this happen before. It sounds like you have a good perspective on this, anyway, and the Bible says never to lend money to a friend and expect to get it back.
Just tell her not to promise anything. But be sure that she's not taking advantage of you.

Hey well you can just STOP lending her money for a start! if she asks you to borrow money just be like"oh sorry i don't have any" and hey if she is your close friend and you don't care about the money then why are you even asking about this? well anyway you should say"i need you to pay me back!" it doesn't matter if you don't care about it and your close friends she needs to pay you back to learn the importance in keeping a promise! And if it's a lot you could be using that money for something else. so you could always just get jobs together and be like! "hey now you can pay me back" and she'll give you the money every week! Hope i helped bye Cherry

I would stop bringing it up with her. Anytime you loan a friend money, you can expect to never see it again. Some people are true friends and will always pay you back. Other ones just don't have the same values.
Above all, don't loan her any more money. If she ever pays you part of it back, be grateful. ]

go up to her and tell her straight up that you need her to pay you back by.......... and if she tells you sure, in a casually voice like shes pretend listening, tell her the amount will double by that date if she can not keep to her commitment. start putting a Little discipline into the situation. pretty soon she'll get the idea that your serious
then just don't let her borrow any money if she cant pay you back. its that simple. i never said it would be easy but your letting yourself get pushed around if you don't go through with it. if its that much money then it is a serious problem.

You should never lend friends or family money. If she needs money and you want to give it to her and have it to give, give it to her, do not lend it to her.
If it doesn't bother you that she doesn't pay you back, then why are you out of sorts that she doesn't keep her promise to pay you back.

Once, shame on her, more than once, shame on you. You could still be her friend and NOT lend her money.
