St Paul in the acts of the apostles

He was a jew, persecuting Christians.
He was walking to damascus when he was struck blind and a voice told him to stop persecuting the christians and follow jesus....

It comes from Acts Chapter 9 in the Bible. A Pharisee (religious leader )called Saul had a conversion experience on the road to Damascus. Later his name was changed to Paul and he became the great Apostle Paul who wrote much of the New Testament.
