I just went of depo provera after 10 years. I have been getting depressed, irregular bleeding, and have been aroused like crazy. Are these symptoms normal?

Just went off depo. I was only on it for a year and a half. The worst year and a half of my life. You amaze me that you lasted 10 years. I had the worst side affects for it. Depression and lack of sex drive being the 2 biggest. I got my last shot in June. Had my first period in October and it has been on and off irregularly since then but very light. As far as the depression..nope not me..I finally dont feel depressed and as far as the sexual arousal..my husband is wondering what the heck is up LOL because he didnt get it when I was on the depo and actually has asked me to give him a 48 hour rest a couple of times. I know Too much info but hopefully that will make you realize it is normal.

You've had those side affects ON depo?
Perfectly normal.
give your body some time to purge that crap of depo out of your body.
I didn't get those after depo because I immediately went on the pill, but I had all of those side affects while ON depo.
