Guys get boners due to a combination of things, mainly blood flow.
When a guy gets sexually stimulated, messages are sent to the brain to send blood flow to the penis, sexual endorphins are raised and tada, and erection.
Guys can get erections that don't have anything to do wtih sexual stimulation, simply because of virility and blood flow. Erections come easy with healthy males.
