My co worker is so addicted on yahoo answers. In less than a month, she became a top contributor. Five days ago when she signed in, she was really shocked when she saw in her avatar, there is no more top contributor badge, it's not there anymore, it's gone! She feel upset and depressed and she losses her appetite and motivation in yahoo answers. She is very angry even in our work, she is always mentioning yahoo answers! What is the best thing to do to get back again that "Top Contributor" badge.

"Hmmm, the same thing that happen to me! and it's just yesterday. And I'm wondering why like that, despite that everyday I'm answering lots of questions. Huh! Yahoo Answers is really weird, and that top contributor badge is a very good motivational technique for me because I'm so proud answering questions with that badge. Imagine people will see you in your avatar that you are a top contributor. For me its an honor and previlege to have that badge.

I'm sad about it that it disappeared in my avatar. Imagine I became one of the top contributors for four months. But just yesterday, that orange badge was gone! What will I do, this is Yahoo answers. They have their rules, guidelines and technical or electronically system that sometimes very dificcult to explain.

"All I have to do now is just to be patient."
"Continue answering more and more."

"I hope that I can take back my "Top Contributor" badge also."

"I think it's not bad to suggest that, once we've got that badge, it will be there forever! Can we suggest that to yahoo team? It's ok guys?

i would't care at all. anyone can look at anyone's profile and see how many answers they've contributed. you don't need a badge to see that someone answers a lot of questions.

Wow, she seems to really take Yahoo! Answers seriously. To get her TC badge back, she should just hang out in one particular category and give quality answers in that category. Rumor has it that you need to answer 45 questions in 30 days and have a 10% Best Answer rating. I wish her good luck!

I guess I would be a little butthurt about it but I wouldnt freak out like that, shes got some problems. If she wants it back then she needs to earn it back.

I don't understand why anyone would want one. That is not the purpose of this site, in my opinion.
