I 've had a full time business for two years. I'm not making alot of money so I thought about going to nursing school. Is it possible to go to nursing school and run my business? I don't want to quit my business because I've put too much into it.

Any advice

You can do it but it will be really hard b/c nursing school is intense and fulltime so be prepared to have your business suffer. You might see if someone can help with the business while you're in nursing school. Once you're done with school and established as a nurse, you can do your business again and do both part time possibly. Good luck.

Maybe the first few years when all you have to do is classroom work but not when you start you clinicals. During your clinicals you will be doing full time shifts in all areas of the hospital along side the staff nurses. Unless your business has very trustworthy employees that could take over.

no one can answer that question for you. It depends on you. How much time you have to devote to either project. Will the business fail if you divert your attention. Will school suffer if you tend to business matters. And then there is family obligations to consider.

Perhaps you should consider selling the business and go to school, or forget school and really devote yourself to growing the business.

Keeping the business simply because of the time you have invested may not be the best decision. If the business is flawed it may never grow beyond where it is today. If that's the case. Close it, sell it, or give it away.

That's a mighty big job for one person. Are you planning on getting any help with this endeavour? If not, I wouldn't take it on! If you do anyway, you'll be a basket case before it's all over. For now, choose one! Maybe a little later, with some support, you'll be able to pull it off. Good luck!
