Why is my brand new Dewalt drill sparking inside by the brushes?

Its normal....as the brushes, as passing by the Commutator strips..they Make/break contact very fast creating the sparking

as the brushes seat onto the commutator they will spark less but like the other answers that is normal

The Armature does this, it's suppose to do this (friction) killer of tools.
