I think God feels towards us the way a parent feels towards their child. You feel this immeasurable love for them even when they disappoint you. You do whatever you believe is best for your child, even though they might disagree. You hope that your child will lead a happy, healthy life, but understand that the choices they make can hinder this.

No I don't think so, it's equal love all the way around, certain things happen to certain people for reasons beyond our knowledge. I used to think fat/lonely people were bad people in their past life and are now suffering because of that. Like reincarnation or something.

Those folks that give their troubles to Jesus to have less stress in their life. God helps those that ask for help. A believer knows these facts and live by the results!

Absolutely not. I don't believe in a god anyway. Hypothetically, if there WAS a god, I think it would be VERY petty of him/her/it to favor other people above others.
