how can an entire race be racist? or another personal favorite, how can an entire race be built out of nothing but criminals and savages. at first it was my kind that started the mess here but as of late it seems that everyone wants in on the action, not that i'm complaining but it seems kinda funny to see minorities trying to become what we were. it's that what one might call ironic?

Howdy, jaysun!
I usually find myself agreeing with you and this time is no different. I think this is a damn good question and we all, as human beings, need to ask each ourselves this question every morning when we wake up.
If I have a stupid roommate who watches television at late hours and has guys over all the time and she happens to be black, shouldn't I judge her by the things she has done? Why would I say that just because one person, or even more than one person does something stupid, that entire group must do the same stupid thing?
It's horrible that we're all defined by stereotypes in one way or another because MOST people in GENERAL (regardless of race) rely on generalizations when forming opinions about other people.
Why do we have to do this? Why doesn't anyone else speak out against it? Why is it socially acceptable to lock your car doors and re-lock them when a black person walks by? Why is it socially acceptable to assume that a white person is racist just because they happened to glance at you? Why is it socially acceptable to assume that all Mexican-Americans are illegal immigrants? Why? Once we can get together and answer this question, I think we'll all be better as people.

Well I think I understand this question. People outside of there own race or group of people feel uncomfortable. They dont undertsand it they dont know why or understand motive of why do some stuff. Without knowledge education or open mind you cant understand and so you lump all as a whole and only see there actions not why they are doing this or not doing it.
So we easily lump together and judge on what we observe all of them doing and take the similarities and we use that as stereotype os in our minds we can kind of feel more comfortable because we trick ourselves that we now understand. I get this alot as well as I am sure you do and everyone reading. we have our culture, cliques those that we know or cultures we know , where raised in , feel comfortable, and you can understand eachother. This is only my oppinion howeve. this is good question. :D

I look at each person as an individual. An entire race cannot be racist. An entire race cannot have only criminals and savages.

I love to see that Canadian mind of yours start working....No offense to anyone that is not Canadian.
I know that most of your questions are rhetorical, but I still would like to address most of them. Sadly, people get so wrapped up in stereotypes that they begin to believe their own crap. People try so hard to hate that they will go to any measure to do so, even if that means lying to themself and everyone else to justify their twisted beliefs. An entire race cannot be racists. Even though there is some out there that want everyone to believe that this is the case. They attempt to spread their venom by any means they can think of. So they point out two or three members in a race and begin to say how they fit into a certain profile. A bunch of nonsense.
When you say your kind, I am assuming that you must be talking about long haired men....(kidding) Violence is violence. I do not care who started it and who finishes it. I just do not want it around me. People are so freaking concerned about who is committing these crimes. While people are sitting back and bellyaching about who did what the crime rate continues to grow. If certain people were so concerned about crime, they would be the first ones that would be trying to do something about it. Finger pointing never solved one issue, all if does it create more animosity toward one another. In creating that animosity crime grows even more so.
I see your sarcasm for what it is. I know that you are sick of being attacked for being born in the skin that you were. I am not going to get into crime statistics at all. I will say that it is utterly pathetic and sad that the ones of us that have to hear about the statistics and judged by them are not the ones in prison for it. The ones of us that happen to be judged is the people like you and I. I have stereotypes hurled at me all the time. Nobody says anything about families like mine. We both work, financially secure...etc. Some people just want to see that because we are of a certain race that we must be a certain way. Usually the main one that throws out a stereotype is the ones that are the stereotype. Keep you head up honey. You know I have nothing but love and respect for you.

It is a natural process to view your own behavior as individual and a product of circumstances, while viewing others behavior as deriving from internal properties. It serves evolutionary and survival purposes to be able to quickly make decisions. No one thought about the sabre tooth cat or spear wielding member of another tribe as individuals with different qualities and potentials...or if they did, they were quickly eaten or vanquished. We make decisions constantly with limited information. This ability is very often a positive quality of human development that keeps us from killing ourselves or others close to us on a daily basis. However, in modern society, this "discrimination" is both unfair and unwise when applied to most human situations. It is one thing to cross the street when you see an unknown group of possible gang members approaching, and quite another to distance yourself from classmates, fellow workers, or neighbors. Racism exists on both the subconscious and conscious levels, and is both individual and societal. Many individuals aspire to goals which may cross cultural and societal boundaries and norms. People with straight hair often curl it, while people with curly hair often straighten it. Part of the solution to these harmful stereotypes being applied and perpetuated is to understand their origins and seek to overcome them. Many formative and normative influences in society shape and define behaviors. There is an ironic truth inherent in this process...all indviduals and cultures want and need the same things...to be loved, to feel validated and important, to pursue dreams, and to succeed, however they define it.

peopel NEED to feel superior.
it is one of the traits in our society.
my bf says that if everyone looked EXACTLY THE SAME except 1/2 has green eyes and the other 1/2 brown...they would still use that to hate each other. I believe he is right.
I have seen persons manufacture hate out of thin air.

the government perspectives us as livestock. brown cows, calves, bulls, dairy cows, meat cows, and so on. there isn't any experience of humanity or problem-loose decency with them, because of the fact society is basically a tax farm so a ways as they are worried.
