i dropped my macbook a while back and my screen has been a little off center for a while the left side is a little lower, it doesnt affect the mac itself but its starting to get to me

My g/f did the same thing. If you want it fixed, apple will charge you over $1,000. She decided to sell hers to her brother and buy a new one.
You may be able to fix it yourself. Mac sells the casing for like $150, you may be able to buy it. Also, I would try some local computer stores. You may be able to work something out with them (or, they may show you how to fix it for free).
Next time, either buy a pc or don't break your mac.
BTW, if you try calling apple, you'll be on the phone for hours only for them to tell you that it's not covered.

The frame where the display hinge attaches is cracked. It's not a pretty repair to attempt. If it's ok otherwise just call it customized and live with it.

It's probably physical damage. If you're still under warranty or have apple care, then you should contact them. If not, you might have to spend a hefty chuck of money to fix it.
