Regrets ARE a waste of time. You can't change the past, no matter how much you may want to. Learn from your mistakes and move forward.
All of your past actions, even the bad ones, make you the person you are today.

After some thought, I disagree. I think it's important not to dwell on them but important lessons can be learned. I have regrets. I think most people do.
