They're near the sidelines around the 50 yard line. There's one on each side. They look like wrenches with yellow lines extending from them.

I've asked this question before, and I belived the person that said they were lighthouses -- That is until I watched last Sunday's game. They still look like wrenches to me!

It's the Gillette Stadium Logo, comprised of the bridge and tower at the entrance of the stadium

I believe its the visiting teams dignity

And the Patriots trample all over it as they run up and down the field
