I'm forever robbing Peter to pay Paul kirst - poor old Peter never has a penny of his own.

My friend told me that I was borrowing from Peter to pay Paul one day and then she said the trouble is you are running out of Peters. I started laughing at her and then she laughed too when she realized how it sounded.

It is good to follow your mom's advice. It's also impossible sometimes. Usually you do have alternatives. maybe you don't need to borrow anymore, just talk to Paul and see if he'll lower your interest. If that doesn't work, Find a Peter than is going to give you less interest, and when it comes to that, say g-bye to Paul.

yeah, but if you borrow from paul to pay peter, then you still end up owing paul. tell peter to hold his horses and you will pay him when you have the funds. This is a good life lesson for you, DON'T SPEND MONEY YOU DON'T HAVE.

She is right. Because the problem with borrowing from Peter to pay Paul is that eventually they both come to collect at the same time and then you have a double whammy and have to borrow from Mary. Then you have to borrow from Guido to pay Peter, Paul, and Mary. Then when you can’t pay Peter, Paul, Mary, or Guido, Guido sends his thugs to break your legs when you don't pay.

Well Kirst my mum used to say that too! It is true because if you borrow off someone to pay someone else you still have the debt to pay just to a different person!
