Should children who commit adult crimes be treated as adult?
yes

yes if they do the crime the punishment should fit it. to many are getting away with stuff when they are young and then when they get older they do much worse stuff.

Yes I do. If they are old enough to be involved in an adult crime, then they should pay for it like an adult to teach them a lesson. Letting them get by with a few weeks in juvie and then a slap on the wrist just puts them back on the street to do it again. Its sad to say, but they are old enough to know better if they can get a gun and rob someone. Good luck.

Crimes like murder, vioaltion etc. I Do agree that they should be treated as adults. They have to be responsible for their actions.

I'de say yes they should. We are all responsible for our actions and if children aren't taught this the first time around, they'll continue to commit crimes.

Perhaps in terms of sentance length, but their sentances should always be carried out at juvenille detention centers.

Children should never be confined among adult criminals given both the risk of assault/abuse, and the fact that you certainly aren't helping the kid reform by having them interacting with criminals most of the day.

No, not if they're under 16. They don't have the mental capacity to truly understand the gravity of what they've done. Over 16, absolutely, especially for murder and rape.

i think for children (mostly teenagers) to be treated lighter on crimes that adults would be punished more harshly for it's totally outrageous. they did the same crime they should be punished the same way.

It depends on the kid's background and reason for the crime.
