Nash is a good team player, so is Ginobili. But Ginobili can score and play d. Nash can play d too but he really isnt all about scoring he wants to spread the ball out around the floor. He has 14+ assist in the last few game. Don't get me wrong though there both good players, and vital to their teams

Although I like them both a ton and they are both fun to watch, I feel that Nash is more valuable to his team. If Ginobili has a bad day, the Spurs will be alright. If Nash has a bad day, the Suns will probably lose. Similar to how the CAVS lost 5 straight without Lebron last week and then won last night once he was back in the lineup.
I will say the Ginobili has to be one of the smoothest/fluid like player i have ever seen.

Nash, Ginobili won't be able to do half the things Nash does. Nash makes everyone on his team better, and shoots at a high FG% for a PG.

Lets see who has more MVP's and why?? Nash is the best PG in the NBA and makes the Suns Shine(clever hey). Gino is a nice player but is not even the best player on his own team let alone an MVP caliber player such as Nash. He also whines a lot and is kinda clumsy. I'm also from Texas.

Nash is in the top five category of nba's elite players. If manu is injured the spurs will win. you take out nash and the phoenix suns become the clippers. you can't take away manu's championship rings or his ability to surprise defenses with his herky jerky moves to the rim, but he didn't get it on his own (thank you tony and tim). If the suns ever played an ounce of team defense, it might be nash with a ring right now.

Different players, different games. I think if I had to give an overall impression, I would go with Nash, however, they are asked to do pretty different things on the floor, so it's not a great pure comparison.

i believe Mano would beat Nash in a game of one on one, but Nash is the better all around team player especially in the fast-break system he operates.
