I have a blanket over me and in front of toasty wood burner, its darn cold in Blighty but the sun shone today.

If you live in Oklahoma how are you managing?

Aaaaah...that DOES sound cozy...
I have a blanket over me and the sun is out, but instead of a toasty wood burning stove, I am in front of my antique computer...in Indiana.
Brrrrrrr.....

South coastal British Columbia here: about 2 degrees of frost overnight but a warm and sunny 5C today. I'm kept warmer by a nice whiskey (purely for medicinal purposes of course). Wear a hat! In Canada everybody owns a toque. The toque is made ubiquitous as an environmental necessity but has become a bit of a cultural icon in a country where cold is universal, although where I live is about as warm as Seattle (a fact that we rub in the faces of the rest of the country and that makes us the target of some weather-wimp jokes from colder areas- every other part of Canada).

I don't live in Oklahoma
I don't live in Arizona
I don't live in New Caledeonia
I happen to live in California
Right now I'm at work
Earning a living like a jerk
Playing on Y!A when I have a minute
Or when there's a question with you in it
I have an electric heater under my desk
So I am toasty from my toes to my neck.
(oo)

I'm in the Big Apple, NYC & its 40 degrees and cold isn't an issue now .. but by tommorrow its supposed to be a wintry mix of snow & sleet ... but the working class must slog it out.

No, I'm not trying to rub it in or anything, but down here in Houston, it's only like 60 degrees. What I wouldn't give for some winter...

I'm cozy here in New York. But, I hear we're in for a zap of extra coldness. I'll have to double up on my cozy.
