I have a HP LaserJet 3050 All in One machine. I am having problems printing from a software program (work related). The PCL format on the software is a PCL 4 and the printer lists as a PCL 6. Would this be why I have problems printing? Is there anyway to change the PCL? If it's not the PCL anyone shed some light as to perhaps why I cannot print (I can print perfectly fine from say Word, excel, Outlook, etc.) Thanks!

Re: Kind of problems

Mostly my software program would close due to an error during printing. I may or may not get a page or two to print but mostly it would just "experience a problem" and close. I have had no trouble printing from other programs, etc. I reinstalled the all in one machine to see if it works now.

PCL6 is backwards compatible with PCL4. What KIND Of problems are you having?
