Bushrod has a point.
Are you willing to pay for it? Are you willing to spend limited resources on a 40 year old murder? Are you willing to spend time on a hit and run ten years ago that killed a heroin junkie?

In a perfect world I'd be all for it.

In some cases they have forgotten the rule in solving such crimes which goes all the way back to the days of Imperial Rome. Ask one question: "Cuit Bene? (Who Benefits?). Most times when you figure out the answer to that question, you have pointed out the murderer.

Absolutly.... but if they are unsolved for long enough they unfortinatly become cold cases and alot of times are not re-opened. Good luck.
