I support our troops, I don't agree with the war. I love America, I don't love our administration. Just because you don't agree with the law makers, doesn't mean you are unpatriotic.

EDIT>> Sorry, I wasn't actually meaning to respond to your question.. after I read "subwm4bu"'s reply, I got all irritated.. I agree with what you say in your question.. I just got out on a rant responding to that person.

Supporting the troops means making sure that they don't fight against US interests, like they do in Iraq. It means making sure that independent contractors don't endanger troops.

BTW, only one democracy contributed significantly to the war effort in Iraq: the UK.

Hey, here's an idea: if more than half our democratic allies refuse to commit troops and treasure amounting to at least half the troops and treasure we commit, we shouldn't get into a war. That would be a good rule for any democracy, no?

this may be a challenging one. My dad fought in WW2 and that i lost many acquaintances in the Vietnam conflict. the way our provider adult adult males have been dealt with with the Vietnam conflict grow to be terrible. It never made any experience to me. Our u . s . a . went to conflict and you have been drafted. i grow to be too youthful to precisely recall all the issues that led as much because it. maximum previous conflict vets did not communicate in lots element with regard to the grotesque ingredient of conflict. merely the victories. you probably did not have the information media masking each and every little thing the two. With Vietnam you probably did, and human beings i think of have been very much stunned. as a replace of understanding conflict isn't tremendously or putting the topics on the leaders of the conflict.......they blamed the servicemen. i wished them back residing house besides. in case you have been professional-soldier that is going to mean you're professional-conflict and there is a distinction. I desire conflict wasn't genuine yet specially situations that is needed. i understand why we went to conflict this time. 911. struggling with terriorism is far greater complicated. i don't understand if that is a conflict which could ever be "gained". i assume the superb we are able to desire for is a few administration over them.(the terriorist communities)...which they have not got yet. It breaks my coronary heart to be certain the wounded and all the demise. yet I additionally understand if there's not some administration....whilst they're finished killing one yet another there, they are going to be right here or someplace else in the worldwide doing it there. there isn't any good judgment or reason to all of it. sure, i desire them residing house. I do merely not desire to be certain us having to stand this comparable subject in 5 yrs. right here or someplace else. Leaving isn't likely to end it. a sparkling attitude ought to help administration it. i don't understand. conflict is final hotel after useful skill have been tried. that is grotesque and not honest and there are no regulations.

You know, you guys are just as bad as the "Liberal" media with all of your made up Bull****. Just because someone disagrees with the reasons behind the war, it doesn't mean they don't support the troops! Grow up and realize that life isn't black and white!

EDIT: Sorry, I was really angry before I saw the part about murderers, etc. Those people should move to another country. As a matter of fact, isn't there a poster above me that should be first in line?

We keep the poor deluded souls that volunteered to put themselves in harms way for all the wrong reasons in our prayers every Sunday and at noon time most days of the week.
'Twas W and his Military-Industrial complex that treats them like Cannon Fodder.

There was a report where the Marine Commandant of Anbar Province had been begging the "pentagram" for up armored vehicles for years. They wouldn't do it though 'cuz they don't want to leave those vehicles behind after spending all that money on them........

The Bush Administration are the ones who are against the troops- they are sending them to die in a senseless war.
Moving to another country is the coward's way out. Admitting the flaws of a country and loving it enough to try and fix them is true patriotism.
But what do I know. I'm just a crybaby.

Why aren't you so called military supporters calling Bush to task for sending these troops in without proper equipment. For the systematic breakdown of a once great military. For the shabby treatment of the veterans that come home sick and shattered? You can't have it both ways.

Sounds like you're doing a bit of cry-babying yourself. Regardless of whether or not people were "appreciating our troops" up to your personal standards, I love how you say that people saying things you don't like should move to another country. Because that's what freedom means, right? People are free to say whatever they like, unless you get upset. Then they should be exiled or censored.

People like you are the biggest hypocrites when it comes to true freedom and democracy. "Freedom is being free to say what I think you should say."

Why bash our ally Saudi Arabia for their lack of democracy!?!

If you are against Saudi Arabia you are against our President Bush and therefore against our troops!
