Major importance:
1. KEEP GROSSMAN. When the Bears running game becomes repectable again, you'll see why. Turnovers, problems with Kreutz and short yardage failures are due the Bears OFFENSIVE LINE and RUNNING GAME BEING NONEXISTANT. No QB not even Favre could do well getting sacked 4-6 times a game AND with a running game that can get 60-70 yards a game like the Bears...Grossman is much better than he has shown.
2. GET RB, G, OT - The bears running game SUCKS and has for 2 years--Thomas Jones did a great job covering up that weakness last season because he can block well.
3. Also less important - Linebacker (Briggs gone), DT, and WR
You have to have good Guards and tackles to run the football.
The Bears' starting center is awesome, but he's playing nearly alone on that line.

The Bears need to get that offensive line under control. Their main needs are at:
OL (tackle and guard, theyre set on center)
QB
RB
WR
Safety
DT
With the eighth pick, they should take Ryan Clady or Sam Baker or whoever the best O Lineman available is. They would then have to get Donovan McNabb or Derek Anderson via free agency or trade. But, it would be really hard for them to pass on Matt Ryan, Andre Woodson, or Brian Brohm. I can see them drafting a wide receiver or a running back in the second or third round, maybe a good early second round back could be Rashard Mendenhall, Felix Jones, Steve Slaton, or Ray Rice. If they decide to take a wide out here, they could get Limas Sweed or Mario Manningham.
The Bears can build a good foundation for their future if they do this draft right. They just need to get thier priorities straight.

I agree about the O-line. Fred Miller is NOT getting it done, so a right tackle is priority. I think Cedric Benson was getting into his groove, and Rex is seriously a top half QB. If he has time, he can DESTROY you deep. O-line is the most important position behind QB. In Round 2 you get a safety or another D-Tackle. I think the Bears need another WR threat also. With the 8th pick the Bears need a O-lineman. BADLY.

8th pick? I say they look at a QB or an O-lineman.
Matt Ryan or Andre Woodson would be the most likely candidates if they are still around.
If they are looking for an o-lineman... Ryan Clady from Boise State probably is their guy.

O-lineman or Running Back. i think the Bears can pull it off with Kyle Orton. get rid of Grieseball and probably get rid of Grossman too.

they are better off disbanding the team. so many holes, that the team will continue to suck for the next 10-20 years. also, the NFC North has greatly improved this year and will continue to get tougher. Bears just don't have a chance. it doesn't matter who they get.
: )
look at the bright side though...you still got the Cubs. oh. haha. they are the choke artists! oh, bulls! oh wait, they suck too. ah heck, illinois sucks! look at a map, the state of illinois looks like one gigantic turd falling from wisconsin's butt. it needs to be flushed.

They need to get a QB... theirs are terrible. If they don't trade for McNabb, they have to draft. If they do trade for a QB, then I would go with a Safety, and work Hester more into their offense.
