Do you remember the news early this year about this kid that went missing about 7 years ago and he along with another boy that also went missing 11 months ago got rescued from the kidnapper’s apartment. Oprah did this big interview with the kid but the kid didn't say much...what ever happened to his 'after the big rescue' story. Anybody know??? Anybody?

Likely, both kids (Ben and Shawn) are keeping a low-profile because they want their privacy - they're young and have to try to get over what happened to them and try their best to have happy productive lives.
The kidnapper has already pled guilty to many of the charges against him and has already been sentenced to life imprisonment. A big sensationalized trial was avoided which is good because the kids didn't have to take the stand and testify about the details.

There was a story about how both boys are adjusting on TV recently. I can't quite remember what was said, but I believe both kids were doing all right and back in school. I can't remember the follow-up being anything dramatic, so he must be okay. Otherwise we would have heard about it.
