Listen up everyone, the Yankees are still the best baseball team throughout all of baseball history. The sport did not start existing in 2000. If that were the case, then yeah the almighty Red Sox would be able to take that title. But baseball has been around since before the 1900's. The Yankees have won 26 World Series. Wayyy more than the second-best franchise, the Cardinals. When you make a list of the greatest baseball players ever, at least a 1/4 of that list would consist of Yankee players.

Now this question was a little odd and I'm sure the asker just wanted to stir up some people becuase the Yankees are universally hated. But he wasn't off the mark when he called them the greatest team in baseball.

And Red Sox fans, really get off it. You have no right to cry greed!! That's pretty much a laughing matter at this point. You guys won the World Series 2 times by turning into the "Evil Empire" that you so love to hate.

The Yankees have no respect for the game. They are the most wasteful team in the league, moneywise. People can complain all they want about the Red Sox being big spenders now, but they do what they have to do to compete. Can't just hand it over to the rich kids every year, you know.Trust me, if the Jays, Orioles, and Rays had the money, they'd be able to compete.
So, in answer to your questions, no, Satan created the Yankees, and no, they are not the greatest team in baseball. That honor belongs to the Red Sox organization, and the owe it all to the genius, Theo Epstein.
The Red Sox baseball Dynasty has begun. Enjoy the show.

God didnt create the Yankees, the Sox trading Babe Ruth created the Yankees! But welcome to the new millenium there Pookie, cuz your Spanks havent won a World Series since 2000, before they started to buy the free agent market. The Sox have won two World Series in four years, that must hurt u & your phony god! Dont blame our God for creating a greedy, money hungry, holier that thou Evil Empire like the Yankees or u'll be sitting right next to Georgie Porgie & Saddam in Hell!

Since God created man, I guess technically he created the NY Yankees. God fights against the proud. The Yanks are the most arrogant team in sports. They certainly don't demonstrate pride or power. They demonstrate all that is wrong with baseball, money, and greed.

As Sports Illustrated put it, rooting for the Yankees these days is kind of like rooting for the British Empire.

If so, then God needs to learn that having the biggest payroll in baseball doesn't guarantee championships.

However, I think you should thank Harry Frazee's Red Sox and the old Kansas City A's more than you should God. They're the ones that helped build those powerhouse teams.

god has very little to do with baseball. Although rumor has it he was the reason "No No Nanette" was a flop, forcing Harry Frazee to sell Babe Ruth to the Yankees.

Last I checked they didn't win thier division, they've lost in the ALDS three straight years, they fired Joe Torre, and the Red Sox won the World Series.
