when can I expect a call after follow up letter?

I did an interview last Thursday and on Monday, I wrote the company a follow up/ thank you letter. When can I expect an answer? Do most company write back or call back when people write a follow up letter? What were your experiences?

Most reputed companies do call you normally in 3 weeks time. But if I was you I would definately call them for a followup on their decision.
