No. You get what you get and you just have to learn to live with it.

I started taking the pill over a year ago, and it has made my periods go from 7 days to 4...this is NOT unhealthy, most doctor's recomend it.I went to my OBGYN, and she set me up with a Birth Control, that does not cause you to gain weight and shortens periods..Some women use the pill just so they can regulate their period. Its nothing new, give it a try!

I don't suggest using contraceptives to shorten your period. There may be health risks, and you'll end up with missed periods all together. Just stock up on thicker pads/tampons, painkillers, and suck up what woman have been dealing with since the dinos.

Yes, if you use a tampon, leave it in there for around two-three days or so. It might hurt for a while but thats okay. O yea, don't forget to eat your protein. It helps with the flow of your period. And lastly, dont have sex until your 45.

I'm sorry but it is not possible to shorten it because it is part of your anatomy. But, since you barely started it is kind of irregular because your body is adjusting to it; there is a possibility that it becomes shorter by itself as time passes. That thing happened to me, mine lasted 7 days and now is 4 days only.
