I think that it was Reagan. He took the country when it was really in the pits emotionally and brought it out. FDR did it with a war, Reagan did it with economics and character. He also did it with overall cooperation and a lot less politics. Sound like we need a new Reagan.

fdr confiscated gold and caused the depression to last maybe twice as long as it should have. anybody who gives fdr credit for ending the depression knows nothing about economics. JFK god rest his soul was the last popular president, and the last one to have ALL of the people in his heart. Reagan did much for us economically but he also gutted the working man by advocating the stripping of many tax deductions.

Vladimir Putin, the americans engineered the selling off of russian industry to corrupt oligarchs for pennies on the dollar and wrecking the russian economy... he threw the oligarchs in jail and restored pride and independance to russian politics. russians love him he is a great man.
