I'm trying to make fingerless gloves. I know simple crochet bu do not know the terms that go along with it so I have directions already but can't read them. Can anyone explain this in simple terms?

I think the easiest way to do it would be to turn it inside out and get a piece of matching yarn and a yarn neelde and sew it closed :)

Seeing the pattern would help, but going by a glove pattern that I have, its states to close the tube, crochet a single slip stitch through the first stitch on the last row and work the ends back down the tube with a blunt needle. www.craftyarncouncil.com has quite a few demonstrations on various stitches if you need a visual aid to help you conqure those confusing directions.

seems to close the tube you need to sl st.....Slip Stitch.
