Yes, I did. And if we are going by the true meaning of wearing white, then no. Since I was living with my husband for three years before we got married and I was pregnant at the time. That is a very old rule though. Nowadays, it's not like I would've gotten stoned for wearing white inappropriately on my wedding day. Personally, it didn't matter to me what color I wore, I wore my mom's wedding dress because it was special-not because it was white.

No I didn't I chose Ivory and I will not say why...
Just kidding :)
I actually thought white made my teeth look less white and I have VERY white teeth.
I don't think it matters what color the dress is I think it is refreshing to do something different. I saw a wedding gown from Morocco and it was breathtaking!!!

I wore white, and no probably shouldn't have as I had one child already and was 6 mo. pg. when I got married. However, I think white is the most common color for a wedding dress, and anyone should be able to wear it if they choose... virgin or not.

Of course! But I was not a virgin and we all know that the white dress/veil in weddings resembles virginity so maybe I should not have, but I was following tradition and could not have imagined wearing anything other than white for my wedding..

Marry for love and do not seek the approval of others, including your parents. You have to live with your spouse and be happy. Your parents cannot determine who/what makes you happy and if they are good parents they will be supportive, no matter who you choose.

no white usually symbolizes still being a virgin..and clearly i am not..I got married this summer in a park in PA..i just wore a cute yellow sun dress..i don't think it's a necessity to marry in white unless you are like really old fashion..
