If your wife loves you, that should be all that matters.

Yes, Because if they are judging you already because of this the problem will only get worse. I have dated outside my race lots of times and it has always played some role in eventual breakup. Money isn't as big a problem as long as you have an education. With an education, they can see the opportunity for being financially stable. If actual "rich" is what you are talking of get out fast. They are looking for someone with money now. Sad but these two things matter to way too many people.

Sometimes family can be difficult but the only thing that should matter is your relationship with your wife. the family will one day see that you two are right for each other and leave you alone. I should know I have been married 13 years and my family is just starting to like my husband. they have finally seen that he is the my perfect match and my happiness is all the really matters to them. and that should be the only thing that matters to your wife's family.

If that is why they don't like you, then who cares? They are close minded jerks. If you love your wife and will protect her and love her with all you've got, then you're a wonderful husband. Your skin color doesn't matter, and the amount of money doesnt matter unless the reason you are not rich is due to simple laziness. But as long as you are *trying* to support yourselves, you don't need to care about what her family thinks.

Do you treat your wife and kids right? Does your wife and kids agree?

If you answered yes, then don't worry about it. The only problem you might have is if your wife agreed with them, and I'm thinking she doesn't.

You didn't say how long you've been married, where the parent live, how old you each are... All these things could factor in, Young and in love, you'll grow together, and succeed.

Good luck.

you shouldn't worry about it because as long as she loves you for who you are and the color you are then nothing else should bother you. if she wanted to marry a man the same color or that was rich then she would of but she choose you and that's all that should matter to you.

if they feel that way then it will be a huge challenge between you and your wife. studies show that having the parents permission is a big deal and will effect your relationship in a bad way but there has been people who have made it through. We just went over that in my PFD class which is a personal family development class.

It depends on how well you and your wife get along. If there are rough times and she brings that info home to her family, then yes, you should be worried.

As long as you support your family and keep the relationship on an even keel, they haven't got anything to complain about and noting to pin on you, so in that case, no worries!

Yes, I know your wifes opionon is the only one that counts however; you'll have to be strong to withstand all talking and nagging she is going to get regarding you. Also, hopefully it does not happen when you have your argument that those negatives that they are planting in her head will rise up. Look at it as an outside person. People are always going to talk now matter what your situation good or bad. It has to be something inside that keeps you you.
