I would have voted for him in the Republican primary in 2000, but I was not old enough.
He has great stances on a number of issues and is a candidate I can actually respect. He also stands for things morally that many others won't.

Allen Keyes may be an intelligent man. However, his proposed policies as President are absurd and borderline idiotic. How can a Presidential candidate honestly believe that a solution to the education problem in our country is to decrease spending on education.
Probably the most disturbing aspect of Mr. Keyes campaign is the belief that ridding this country of our federal income tax is a good idea. The mere thought of this is hippocritical in his own campaign, figuring that Mr. Keyes himself agrees with keeping troops in Iraq. The idea of ridding this country of its federal income tax may sound great to the American worker. However, with all the services that the people of this great country receive from the federal government through tax levies and federal grants are very important and beneficial.
Mr. Keyes is an extremist. I will not go as far as saying he is the kind of extremist we are fighting overseas, but he is an extremist. He believes in extreme Catholic values and his conservative views are more intense than any candidate I have personally ever seen, other than himself in prior elections of course.
Every citizen is entitled to his/her own opinion in their voting decision. But to be completely honest, voting for this man would be the greatest waste of your democratic right to vote. Voting for this man would promote Radical Catholics. Our country is founded on Christian beliefs, but it is not a theocracy.
Mr. Keyes is a ridiculous and borderline insane choice for the White House.

He has good ideas.
He did NOT disown his daughter, but yes she is a lesbian. He does not condone her lifestyle but he loves her and supports her. They actually have a very good relationship.
