I have (2) carved elephant tusks that were sent home from Africa during WWII. Would like to find the value of them. They are approx 2' in length each.

It is illegal to buy and sell ivory in the United States or United Kingdom. Check with a lawyer before trying to sell them. Check with a museum curator they will know. If it has been in your possession since WWII You may legally own it.
The antiques roadshow is a good place to ask on line.

GOOGLE: legal ivory

you will find information on what is legal and what is not....

contact someone who deals in bone, ivory, scrimshaw... and see if they will give you an estimate on the value.

I suspect that if the tusks have been in your family's possession as you describe... you shouldn't have a problem [it would be good if you could document ownership over that period of time]

good luck
