How do I install a local test server on my pc so when I create the php files in Dreamweaver 8 they can be veiwed ?

If your running windows, easiest way is to use a WAMP package, it will install Apache (The most common web server in the world), MySQL (A very popular database used with PHP), and PHP (Hence WAMP).
