I dropped out of high school 4 years ago and I am planning on going to take the GED test sometime next year to get my GED.
What do you think of me going ahead and deciding on pursuing this?

I am still glad I dropped out of high school. It just didn't work for me. Since I won't go to college, I just need the GED to help me get at least get a decent paying job when I need it.

Even with my GED, I still want to pursue Janitorial jobs. I don't want anything that requires a college education.

Believe me when I tell you you will be better off. With a GED, you can get into some community college, if you wanted, transfer to a four year school, then your degree will be as good as anyone's.

At the very least, it lets potential employers know it mattered to you, which will matter to them.

Good for you, never would I say that trying to better yourself is a bad idea. You know that college or further education is not out of the realm of possibilities.

Good luck to you
