I mean this more figuratively than literally, I guess.

Yes ma'am, I have. Don't let anyone tell you screaming into a pillow helps that either...you just end up with a wet pillow and a sore throat. That makes me want to stab a pillow all crazy style. Once (on rock :( ) I got super pissed because ... well, let's not get into why... but I had this stone gargoyle that I really loved. It just so happened to be the closest thing to me at the moment. I picked it up and chunked it on the ground where it totally broke. I cried.

AW, yes...I have been that way more than once unfortunately..lol...I have a name for it..lol but I don't want to repet...I like to slam things like doors, cabinets...lol..a real "hot-head"...I once slammed a kitchen cabinet so hard the shelve broke, and the dishes fell out..all over the place...its funny now, but wasn't then....and I haven't been that mad in years...but if it do get annoyed at something or someone, I just sit in a chair and try to relax...(or else I will rip a phone book in 1/2..lol..
Its still a work in progress...

In my younger days. I had a couple of forfeited apartment deposits to show for it and a wrecked '64 Ford.
How do I avoid it now? Easy. I grew up.

You have to talk to yourself, to friends, talk about why you are feeling that way. Don't give in to the urge, unless you are going out to chop wood. Believe me, that works. I haven't been like that since before my ex-husband was taken away, but I would just go out back, chop some wood, and light a fire. Burning things helps too. In the fire-pit, that is. Need to talk?

Many times. I usually take it out on a pillow. (Punching it). Or I clean the heck out of my house. It's amazing how clean the house can get when I am pissed off.
