I love chocolate chip cookies, so I probably wouldn't share it. But if I did share it, I would try to split it into same halves. Let it go for now. But if the occasion comes up that you have a cookie and you split it for that person, you keep the bigger part and give them the smaller part. What goes around comes around. If they say something about you giving them the smaller portion, then remind them that last time a cookie was split into, you had gotten the smaller portion and you did not think that it was fair that they got the bigger part. Then you will be even. Tell them that next time this happens, try to split the cookie into same size halves.

It is very similar to the best punishment for someone who receives a free shared chocolate chip cookie, but is nonetheless ungrateful, though his/her portion was almost half of the original cookie.

If I am on here (In which I was on here first) does that mean that I'm not letting it slide? Or am I continuing to do what i have aways done? If your on here watching me, are you letting it slide or are you waiting for something to rub you the wrong way? Make your own cookies & stop trying to get a piece of someone else's - - in other words get a LIFE!!

The best punishment would be to not give you any cookie at all, because it isn't your cookie in the first place, and you're being greedy and wanting more.

Grab their half with a fist, bring it close to their face, squeeze, then wipe your hands of the cookie and that person. I would say to also do the Z finger snap, but you would have cookie residue on your fingers, so it wouldn't work.

I firmly believe that when it comes to cookies, such crimes are punishable by death.
Its the only fair way to sort this out, anything less and you will never forgive yourself and neither will the cookie gods.

Point out there are about a million calories in the cookie so you are happy that you got a small piece.

I believe the person who kept the bigger half is forced to forfeit their half. Can't eat a cookie nicely, then you can't eat a cookie at all.

How about just thanking them for sharing? I mean if it were my cookie I'd just eat the darned thing.

Make sure you finish your half last and make lots of mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm noises while you bite each piece. When they question you about it, you obviously got the tastier "half".

It was their cookie to begin with, so joke about it with them.
