Here is an issue I am facing...

I know someone who's ex is trying to collect backpay from 24 years ago... There was never any child support collected ever... And now the ex is trying to get money from the father... Is this possible? I live in Ontario....

I think so unless there was some written agreement in the past that cleared him from it. Still, as unfair as it seems, its easy to have a kid and not as easy to keep it fed so it sounds fair she gets help now.

Well in the US there is a 10 year statue of limitations on such a thing. I don't know Canada law but look in to that.
