i listen to all genres of music and (in my opinion) several bands have changed their style of music completely and everyone hates them now. did you ever like ANY songs from ages ago before these bands were popular?

1.Nickelback-what happened to "leader of men"
2.My Chemical Romance- good group at one time with "helena"
3.Papa Roach-oh how i loved "last resort"
4.Staind-"mudshovel" one of the best at that time
5.Velvet Revolver-from "Slither" to sappy
6.Incubus-from "pardon me" to....see the new stuff is so bad i can't even remember the name
7.The Eagles-weren't they considered rock at one time? via "hotel california"?

if you can name any others please feel free!!

I liked a couple of Nikelback songs, such as 'Too Bad' and 'Leader of Men'.

And The Eagles ~ 'Life in the Fast Lane', 'Take It Easy', 'Lying Eyes'.

Papa Roach, Nickelback & My Chemical R are sellouts. I still like Papa Roach and I let my 9 yr old listen to Nickelback. Staind are actually pretty talented, they sold out too, but since I worked with them( I was concierge at the OKC Westin Hotel) during their 3 days in OKC, and got front row tix as a tip, I like them as people. Mudshovel is by far their best song ever!Velvet R is just not my thing. Incubus is one of my all time faves though. EVERY SONG is different, not just every album. I like "Make Yourself' best, but I really "Dig" "Light Grenades" too. When I wanna bang my head, I listen to something else. The Eagles are classic, now we would call their greatest hits collection "country" but at the time they rocked! I remember sneaking into the closet at my granparents house to listen to records with my uncle. Hotel California, Cat Scratch Fever and Dark Side of the Moon!

There are people who listen to music based on someone else's ideas, and then there are those like me...I listen to whatever I think sounds good. I like at least 1 song from EVERY band you listed (yes, even My Chemical whatever) and I also turn every time a certain song by each of those bands comes on.

A few more???....

Evans Blue
Avenged Sevenfold
Queens of the Stone Age

HERE'S A GOOD ONE...SILVERCHAIR
From "Israel's Son" to "Straight Lines" HHHMMMM???

OMG I couldn't agree with you more. I still love Nickelback and most of everything they do although "Leader of Men" is still my favorite song by them. I did enjoy MCR until I saw them live, and it was the most awkward and awful concert experience I've had to date. Papa Roach will never ascend back to the level of "Infest" and Staind I loved more than anyone. I loved them before 'Dysfunction" came out, I mean that whole album is amazing. Then Aaron blew out his voice and came out with "Outside" and completely ruined that band. The others, I really have no opinion since I'm not that into them.

I liked Nickelback, Staind, Incubus and Velvet Revolver back when their first albums came out. I still like them, but yes, a couple of those groups have gone ballad-happy.

with the exception of velvet revolver, and incubus's early stuff... all those other bands sucked from the get go.
