I'm looking to get a laptop and one of the main price differences is because of the graphic card. I'm not going to use it for gaming. If I purchase the laptop with the better graphic card (all other specs being the same), would DVD quality and video streaming be a lot better? Or won't make much of a difference? Thanks

Hi. Some DVDs need better speed than others, such as fast action movies. A great GPU will give you great video, up to your monitor's limits

You do not need high end graphics cards. Nvidia's Purevideo HD is available even on the 8400M. ATI's Unified Video Decoder is available on the Mobility HD 2000 series.
