lowering their head to spoon some soup into their mouth...give them a slight tap on the head so that they end up dipping their nose and/or forehead in the bowl?

Yes, I've also been eating ice cream with a friend and say "my ice cream smells funny, does yours?" then as they smell of it, I hit their head so their face goes all in the ice cream... works good with cake too.

Depends on the person. Some might pick up the bowl and throw it at you. Or take you by the back of the head and force your face into the soup.
