Not counting.. my son is a newborn so this is the first year. I have about 5 things for him, not including stocking stuffers. I am sure he will get a lot more when he's old enough to have fun with it.. can't wait!! Growing up, I usually got about 15 gifts under the tree.. my Mom still goes crazy, too! Best Wishes!

I try to stick to a specific dollar amount for each child. I have to stick to a very strict budget. 8-12 is my average number of gifts though. But I guess some kids may notice that their sibling got a few more items than they did not knowing that all together they cost they cost the same. Personally, my kids have never complained about not getting what they wanted or that their brother got more than they did. They are usually just elated that it's Christmas and that they are surrounded by new toys.

we don't purchase equivalent presents. What we do is desperate an volume we are going to spend on each and each toddler. And it could sound advise yet we even have an 11 12 months previous and the failings she likes are a tad extra high priced, so the quantity for her is somewhat bigger I advise maximum 11 12 months olds are unlikely to be pleased with warm Wheels or a Barbie ( what's on my 5 and six 12 months olds record). We positioned a million relaxing factor from us and something from Santa. reason all of us know how cool Santa is lol.

I HAVE IT!!

Try these! Probably best as stocking stuffers or secret santa. They are cheap and don't look it. I used these last year and they were a big hit. Using again this year.

I think one big gift and then a few smaller ones and some stocking stuffers would be enough. Just make sure its fair.

3 gifts each...like the Magi's
and then they give each other gifts and they get stocking stuffers and the big family exchange...they get enough. I have eight children...

My kids are the same age as yours. They both get one big present each. Bike and tricycle. And then a few small ones, barbies, cars to play with, clothes etc. Not too many gifts. Since they get a lot from family members, all the aunties, uncles, and grandparents. I learned last year to not spend much on their presents. Instead I put money in their college
fund.

My husband and I have 7 children all under the age of 15. They each get two gifts from us/Santa (depending on age).
I must say their favorite part of Christmas is shopping for the person in our family they picked and giving the gift.

it doesn't really matter how many. but you have to make sure there is some balance. like if you got your boy a big $100 gift and the girl a big $40 gift.. give them each some little things so they don't feel like one is being favored over the other
