Sadly, in many cases, yes.

She could, say, 1) constantly sleep with guys in exchange to spend the night and/or 2) have long-term boyfriends put her up and run to the next boyfriend as soon as the current boyfriend discusses marriage.

Her reputation as a dignified person, however, would eventually fall to pieces and she'd actually have to take care not to keep in touch with people she'd already met and ditched + never let her "mates" meet her friends.

And after 35-ish when she can't qualify as a sex symbol...she'd be pretty much screwed far as getting supported (unless she could find a desperate guy who, literally, couldn't find a g/f or wife even by that age to take her in).
-------------------------------------
The counter-point is the question you asked alone points out what a sad institution marriage has become in many cases IE it has often degenerated into a piece of paper that guarantees one person in the marriage (often the "hot gold-digger") can rip-off half of another person's property and leave and/or leave them with nasty "shared" credit debts they and not their partner have caused.

If men had more respect for themselves, however...any of the above type of BS would never happen.

Yep.
I did, and I'm just average looking. Lived with a boyfriend, went to college, got pregnant, dropped out, got married. Big mistake, btw. Wouldn't recommend it.
However, now I've been separated for two years and STILL haven't had a real job --- I'm going to school again and living off scholarships. I can do it because I'm smart, not because I'm pretty. ;)

Of course. When you're extremely gorgeous you seem to be able to get whatever it is you want.
Of course, it doesn't teach you anything valuable in life.
My mother always taught me to go beyond my beauty and to have intelligence too. She said beauty doesn't last forever but your common sense does.

In order for her to maintain her high maintenance standards, she would have to work to pay for all the clothing, make-up, hair styling crap, fancy car, and plastic surgeries.

All it takes is for her to find a guy who's willing to foot the bill.

Probably if she wanted to, but don't you think that she would feel more useful if she worked?
