I recently rented a condo owned by another person. The main entry door requires one of those electronic pass devices (not a card reader) but one that you hold up to the keyless entry. The condo association wants over 100.00 dollars for a duplicate. Is there anywhere I can take the only one I have and get a duplicate made?

That is a RF key tab yes you could go out and buy one but the condo would have to program it to there system witch would probably still have a fee. RF key tabs are not cheap either. they are probably not making money on the $100 price. if you are looking for a cheap solution ask the owner that you rent from to split the cost with you.
