i found out he is only buying me a diamond necklace for christmas. i have put up with this man for two years! i think i am worth more than that and he is lucky to have me...no other woman would have him!!! last year i even broke off an affair i was having with his brother...my husband's fault. this never would have happened if he spent more time with me and not worked so much. his brother actually listened to what i had to say!! i just think i am being slighted here. maybe once i am gone, he'll appreciate what he lost. can someone help me???

His dad was the same way when I dated Him. (And He gave ME the diamond necklace He bought for his wife) a month AFTER Christmas~ took it straight out of Her jewelry box when She was asleep!!

I'm sorry but you sound like the selfish one.
Anyway, you should appreciate that your husband is even doing ANYTHING for you after you had an affair with his own brother. If there were problems in the marriage, you should have seeked counseling instead of seeking sexual security from his own flesh and blood.
You're pointing the fingers at everyone else but yourself. You say it's your husbands fault you had an affair with his brother, but your husband didn't tell you to open your legs and let anything else inside of you, now did he?
You should leave him! So that he can give that diamond necklace to a woman who is worth it.

Good Lord woman....sounds like the poor guy works to try and keep buying you nice things, and how do you repay him...by sleeping with his brother. Nice! Maybe once you're gone he can appreciate what a real woman can offer...instead of a self centered cheater. Of course you never know what is real on here...But on the other hand...I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a joke...there are a lot of pathetic people out there.

Leave him today. He's a selfish b@stard and you shouldn't have to put up with his b.s. Then when he starts calling you, begging for you to take him back (which you know he will because what man wouldn't?) you can negotiate yourself a pair of diamond stud earrings, a bracelet and ring to go along with that necklace. That way, you can be back by Christmas and make out like an bandit.

well if he isnt working much then a diamond necklace is pretty good. furthermore you act like you are a saint in this relationship. "I even broke off an affair i was having with his brother?" good grief.....this makes you no better then him. Worse if anything cause he hasnt cheated. Xmas isnt about what gift you get....its about being together and loving one another. maybe you make him feel inadequate...sure sounds like it. try changing yourself before you expect others to do it for you

This is exactly why I don't get my wife anything.. by setting the standard very low, anything I do is a wonderful surprise..
Maybe I'll take her to wal-mart the day after christmas and tell her to pick out something real nice and I'll pay 1/2. .
