Nope; I started planning a month ago, and I finally got the tickets yesterday. Many problems can come up; it's never too early to start doing something. Except starting to wait for the school bus at 5 in the morning - THAT is too early.

It's ok to start thinking about New Year's Eve. I'm staying home, having 2 kids takes away all my wanting to party.

I don't think its too early for you to plan for New Years Eve! I think if you wait any longer it will be to LATE!!! (my opinion!)

Its never too early. Go ahead and think about which you would rather do. You don't have to decide now but at least consider it.

planning early is definitely better than planning late and not being able to do anything or have any people over.
