what are the laws in Texas? any signatures needed?

I think in L.A. in Texas, even in China if a woman want s to get a tummy tuck she needs no ones authorization is her body and as long as she is being responsible for whatever happens doctor's will definitely do it as long as they get there $$$ she needs no ones signatures but her's and someone beside her that will be liable if anything happens to her!!!

I think the question you may be asking is whether or not you can be forced to pay for the tummy tuck without your agreeing to it. If she is still covered by your insurance (likely), the insurance still has to cover the cost. If you have filed for a formal seperation or filed divorce papers, she can't obligate you to pay for any costs not covered by insurance. However, if no papers have been filed, you are both still legally obligated for any debts incurred. Either file the papers, or tell her if she gets a tummy tuck, you are going buy a new truck, and she will be responsible for 1/2 of that debt.

Why would she need your permission for a tummy tuck? If she is on your insurance and the proceedure is covered there's no "authorization" on your part needed...she just has to notify the insurance company when she goes into the hospital.

Is she a minor?! That's the ONLY reason she would need your "authorization"
This isn't the 50's or some other Arab country where a wife is "property" ..
If you are in the US (and you are in Texas), wake the hell up ... American Women are brave, strong, beautiful with or without your "authorization" .. so deal with it ..

If she's not using your money to get a Tummy Tuck then she can do as she pleases.
If it's your money that was not given to her by the court of law, then I am guessing you could take some legal action.
But, if it's now legally her money, she has the right to do whatever she wants with it and you'll just have to live with that.

As long as she is over the age of 18, she can decide on her own if she wants plastic surgery. Even if you weren't getting a divorce, you would have no authority over that. She isn't/wasn't your personal property. Why do you care anyway?
