Yep. January and February are slow months in Vegas. Kind of cool and things like pools are not open at the resorts, things that visitors enjoy. Good time to visit.

After the holidays, the tourist visits do go down some. If you stay Monday thru Thursday any time during the year but a holiday season you will get the best deals. Look at www.lasvegsa.com OR www.vegas.com for all the deals. The weather in January and February is very cool, no shorts or swimming at the pool, but compared to other places in the US Vegas is warm.

Worse, though shops want to sell more they also need to sell stuff at a decent price. Take woolworths closing down sale, the business is bust there in debt but there still only sellings things at discount of 10-20%. All other shops will follow.

Jan & Feb are the slower months. I live here, in Vegas. & Cold outside in Jan last year we didn't get over 43 in the day time.. We get very windy, often!! So that would help on shopping.
