Question

looked at your significant others cell phone when they weren't looking? If you do that, what possess you to look at their personal property?

I for one would never check. To me checking the phone is a sign of insecurity. If you have to spy on your partner and don't trust them, you shouldn't be with them in the first place.

No because you should trust your significant other. Also, if you found something that is probably nothing it would eat you up inside and ruin your relationship.

I have, and when I did, I found some dirty text messages to an older woman who he was cheating on me with. I looked through his phone because he gave me reason to, and because I wanted to leave him and needed something to push me over the edge to do it- I needed real evidence. And you're right- I should've left him in the very beginning and not 2 years into a relationship. It wasn't all bad, though- I'm not bitter, he's still a good guy.

The guy I'm dating now, I'd never look through his phone. No reason to. And if I had a reason to, I'd just leave.

yes i have, cause he looked at mines first
and when i did look he had another womans
number, and later found out she was pregnant
and now he has a baby with her.

so on that case i am glad i did
cause he would still be lieing to me.
