The writers of Desperate Housewives mistook the mayor for a vampire, since the script called for the tornado to drive a stake from the white picket fence right through his heart.

Gabby's Husband was killed by a piece of a white picket fence. Carlos is fine. Lynette came rushing out of her neighbor's house to see that her entire house was destroyed (hence the previews of her screaming in the street). Basically the entire block looks like the apocolypse.
I hope the writers get back to work!! i have to know what happens next!

Actually it was a metal pipe from the water feature in brees garden that the mayor tried to hit carlos with. The rest of the fountain went through bree's front room window
My sources tell me the only ppl that die are the mayor (victor) and the old lady that was in the basement with the rest of lynettes family. Bree finds a builder to repair her house and also discovers he is gay and brags about her openess to her son's sexuality and uses him to her advantage.........

Carlos went to Gabby's house to find her, but she was in crawl space with Edie at Edie's place. They reconciled. When Carlos went in to Gabby's house, the mayor was waiting for him, they started beating the crap out of one another. The fight continued as they threw each other out the window and then the mayor-dude picked up a tire iron or crowbar to bludgeon Carlos, who was sort of down for the count, when a picket from a white picket fence spears the mayor right through the chest and he falls over with a surprised look on his face.

Gabriel walked up to Edie and said "girl you best leave me and my man Carlos that I left and after I decided to marry someone else I realized I still loved and now I'm running away with him cause my new husband is the mayor and he got some serious dough and connections alone!"

No, Gabby's husband (the mayor) is most likely dead, but Carlos is also unconscious. Lynette's family are in the basement of that old lady's house. Lynette screamed when she saw it was demolished by the twister but they are probably ok. The street is a disaster - houses are down, etc... Everyone else is ok.

Lanette and her neighbor lady come out of Lanettes house where they took shelter after trying to find the los cat, and Lanette looks at the house of her neighbor where her family was at and it was leveled
