I have the greatest in-laws in the world! My mother in law acted more like my mother than my own Mom for my wedding. She did everything for me! I couldn't ask for a better family!

I love my in-laws. I am closer to my mother in-law then I am to my own mom. They are great people and I love seeing them. My in-laws would give the shirt off their backs to me if I needed it. I really respect and love them and I am thankful for how they treat me

Sorry to say it is unfortunate that I do not get along with mine at all! My husband cannot stand his father as well. (Never met his mother, she walked out on him when he was 12)
As much as I want my children to grow up having his family in their life, some things are better off this way.
He drinks ALOT, he smoked weed around the kids (I FLIPPED when I caught it and called the police, I dont care if you smoke weed, just dont do it around babys!), he steals,
he has like belive it or not 4 girlfriends and trys to get us involved with his highschool drama lying to the girls that they are the only one.
It was hard, he is like a child himself. I wish he gets better one day so we can start over but for now, we have our own family to raise and I do not want them growing up watching that lifestyle. My husband and I want to break this chain so we must move on.

Well, mine are not perfect that is for sure. My mother in law maked stockings for my husband, my step daughters, our little girl but not for me. She did make one for my brother in laws girlfriend! Isn't that nice of her.

They are great when they are at home....100s of miles away. But stress me out when they come visit for the holiday's (my house is never clean enough, the meals are never good enough....)

They are great for short visits 2-3 days max after that they need to go.

I love mine. The are the sweetest people, and I don't call them my mother/father-in-law, they are Mom and Dad!!

They're great, I have been lucky, all the in-laws i've had are great, it's my husbands that gave me grief, ha ha ha
